Justin Bieber Makes Promise in Pencil
Nisa provided the delicious hors d’ouevres for the Meet and Greet VIP reception honoring Justin Bieber and his work, part of the Pencils of Promise 1st Annual Gala in NYC November 17th. Usher, Shaquille O’Neil, Sophia Bush, Robert Deniro and of course Justin Bieber were in attendance to support PoP, one of the fastest growing non-profit organizations in the country and whose mission is to build schools in developing countries. Founder Adam Braun set out determined to build one school with an initial donation of just $25 and has since built 30 schools with plans for many more.
The Gala raised over $1 million that evening with creative live auction ideas like pick-up basketball games with Shaq, Justin and Usher at the big man’s house in Los Angeles which was the hit of the night.

Nisa planned a surprise birthday party for makeup artist extraordinaire Kate Best . The party was hosted by Emmy Award Nominee Actress Vanessa Williams and the cast of “Ugly Betty.” The surprise was held at ABC studios during taping for an upcoming episode.
The cast, including lead actress America Ferrerra, Vanessa Williams, Judith Light, and Becki Newton were delighted with the cuisine, dining on Nisa’s succulent Coconut Butterfly Shrimp, Soba Noodles with Sautéed Asian Vegetables, Sesame Glazed Chicken, Vegetarian Pot Stickers and Crisp Greens with a Raspberry Vinaigrette.
